
Cyber Security Project Manager
Job Details:
This is an Infrastructure project. The basic focus is on functional Project management skills with an understanding of Cyber Security, SIEM, Splunk SIEM.
Role Description:
This position exists within the Security Architecture team of the CSO group in the banking industry. The Security Architecture team is responsible for providing overall leadership across all of the security architectures across the bank. The efforts will involve elements from across the Bank. Coordination and the ability to deal with new and surprising scenarios are critical. Finally, this candidate will provide key contribution into thoughts and ideas for protecting the overall enterprise security of the bank.

Essential Skills:
- Create project schedules that include materials estimates and manpower needs to be submitted to management
- Assist in documenting project phases and creating summary reports for Security Architecture leadership
- Work across the Bank to handle project issues as they arise
- Facilitate a strong team by cultivating relationships between each crew and illustrating how individual team members affect the success of the entire project
- Ensure various project plans and cost standards are met by monitoring expenses across a range of projects within the Enterprise Security Architecture portfolio
- Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
- Enhances CSO CTO reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with project managers
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
Technical Skills and Certifications:
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
Desirable Skills and Certifications:
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Experience working on cybersecurity projects
- Expected travel for this position is less than 10%.

Other Desired Skills:
- Experience with cybersecurity prevention and detection technologies such as firewalls, intrusion management, vulnerability management, cybersecurity requirements analysis, etc.
- Experience working on cybersecurity projects
- Strong understanding of regulated industries, especially in the financial services arena
