How Do I Log In to My PayPal Account?

Use www PayPal com account login – Go to www PayPal com account login to Log In for PayPal com login to View or Edit Account Passwords and Settings

Log into PayPal from by going to www paypal com account login using a web browser. If you don’t already have a PayPal account, you’ll be able to create an account or access your PayPal.com login. www paypalcom account login lets you reset your password and helps you if you forgot your passsword. Users can also check on transactions, send money, and change users permissoins if they have a PayPal business account.

Visit www paypal com account login to set up PayPal OneTouch and PayPal automatic login.

If you’re using PayPal as a mobile wallet, you’ll also be able to manage your account and transactions.

How Do I Create a PayPal Account?

  1. Go to www PayPal com account login
  2. Select Sign Up
  3. Enter an email for your PayPal account
  4. Click Continue
  5. Choose a password

Use a unique password for PayPal that you don’t use for any other online account. Do not write it down on paper and maker sure it is not easy for hackers to guess. If you have trouble remembering passwords, you might want to use a password manager.

What Can I Do If I Can’t I Log In?

If you cannot log into your PayPal account, you may need to clear cookies from your browser cache or use a web browser that’s compatible with PayPal. Newer versions of Mozilla Firefox have third-party cookie tracking blocked by default which may prevent you from logging in. Check your web browser settings and clear the cache if needed.

If you can’t log in because you forgot the email address or forgot your PayPal password, you can regain access by resetting your password.

I Forgot the Email Address for my PayPal Account

If you cannot remember the email address you used for your PayPal account, you’ll be able to take three attempts at which email is attached to your PayPal. If none of the three email addresses works, then you’ll have to contact customer support for login help.

  1. Go to www paypal com account login
  2. Select Having trouble logging in?
  3. Enter up to three email addresses you may have registered, then click Next
  4. If one of the email addresses you entered is associated with a PayPal account, you’ll be prompted to click Continue
  5. Select Continue
  6. Enter your password to log into PayPal

If you tried to log into PayPal but forgot your password, you can do a PayPal password reset from a web browser. You’ll need access to the email or phone associated with your PayPal account. To complete a PayPal password reset file the directions below.

  1. From the top of www paypal com account login or any paypal.com select Login
  2. Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account
  3. Choose how you would like to receive your password reset code – SMS text, email, or telephone call

You’ll receive a six-digit code as a text, email, or call. Enter the code and choose a new password. Use a unique password. If you have trouble remembering passwords, you might want to use a password manager.

You’ll have the option to turn on PayPal OneTouch by checking the box below your new login information. If you use PayPal OneTouch, you won’t have to enter in your password on authorized devices when you want to log into your account. You also won’t need a password to shop online from your authorized laptop or phone. This a convenience feature that makes online shopping faster, easier and more convenient.

If you use OneTouch, then you should protect devices authorized to use your PayPal account with biometric login and a strong PayPal password. If your current laptop of phone does not support biometric login – fingerprint scans or facial recognition – the you might want to consider upgrading to a device that can support the best security features to protect your money. Newer Samsung phones have biometric login security. Newer laptops also support biometric logins as does Dell.

If you want to change your PayPal password or your security questions you can log into PayPal through a web browser and change your password with 4 easy steps this is the same area where you set your security questions it’s important to choose a strong password and set security question answers in case you get locked out of your account. Don’t use security question answers that can easily be found on your social media profiles.

  1. Log in to Your PayPal Account
  2. Select the gear icon to access your account Settings
  3. Click the Security tab above your name
  4. Select Update
  5. Confirm your current password
  6. Enter your new password twice and choose Change Password

Use strong passwords that are not easy to guess. Any word that appears in the dictionary is considered a weak password. You should not use children’s names, pets’ names, your hometown, or anything else that can be gleaned in a social engineering attack.

Set up to factor authentication by requiring a PIN number to access your PayPal account never use easy to guess pins like 1234 or the last digits of your phone number. Of course, your PIB has to be something that’s easy to remember.

Use a Strong Password

Set a strong password for your PayPal account. Use a combination of upper lowercase letters and special characters like the exclamation point to create a hard to guess password. Never use words that can be found in the dictionary or names of people that you know. Hackers use large libraries of common words to hack into online accounts. You should never reuse the password across multiple accounts. If a hacker is able to break into one of your accounts, they can use your PayPal email and password to get into your other accounts and steal your money.

Use a password manager the more passwords you have to remember, the greater the chance you’ll forget some of them. You can always use the traditional method of writing them down and keeping them in a secure place, but another option is to use software that generates randomized password

Use Biometric Login for Your Phone and PayPal app

Protect your PayPal account by using biometric login. If you use PayPal on your phone or other mobile device. Biometric login means using fingerprint scans or facial recognition to unlock a device or app. If your phone does not support biometric login, then consider upgrading to a newer device that supports it. Facial recognition and fingerprint scans are the best way to secure a device and control access to an app. This helps protect your money from hackers or in case your phone is lost or stolen.

How Do I Add Users to My PayPal Account?

Business accounts can add and manage users because are able to manage users. Only PayPal business accounts can add users granting them access to certain areas of an account. For example, if you have an online ecommerce store, you may need to grant API access to your eCommerce shopping app or assign an account manager. PayPal business accounts can have multiple users with varying access levels and privileges. Each user will have a unique login ID and level of access.

If you have a PayPal business account, you can add users to your account

  1. Click the Settings icon
  2. On the left of the page, under Account & Security, select Account access
  3. In the Manage Users section, select Update
  4. Select Add User

When you add a PayPal account user, you have to give their information as well as set their access privileges. When you are finished select Save.
