Data Privacy Week is an international effort to empower individuals and businesses to respect data privacy, safeguard data they may oversee data practices, and establish trust. Privacy has become so important that Data Privacy Day has become Data Privacy Week.
The week will focus on protecting individuals and organizations from data breaches, data privacy legislation issues, and abuse of personal data. Individuals can get involved by attending any of the free events or by simply managing their own privacy settings.
